Edwin Guide - Schedule, Gifts and Where to Find Him

Edwin is Ellie’s northwest-Town neighbor (his porch light gives him away) and the game’s most god-themed gifting target: his loved list runs on divine drops and a moth. This page carries his verified rotation, reactions, and his quiet role as a Cleansing Balm source.

Edwin at a Glance

Where to Find Edwin

The weekday rotation mixes Town with the Mall entrance and the Sewers by the Lakefront exit — the latter makes him the catch-and-gift stop on sewer fishing days (maggot-bait fish in the fishing guide). Sundays he is at church day and evening. Rain, snow, and nights he is home; a farm visit holds him until midnight.

Gift Table

Edwin’s list pays the angler twice over: Godflesh and Godscale are both loved and both roll from the fishing treasure table, the Pale Empress Moth and Shadewing Moth overlap with Sam’s loves, and Gorgon’s Eye matches Ellie’s. The one trap in the theme: Blood of the Gods is hated — the divine drop that Ellie likes backfires on the town’s most god-themed villager. Farm-side, Celery (liked) is an 85g crop you can spare, and Eyeball (liked) is the Eyeleaf byproduct that Ellie loves pickled — see the farming guide.

Edwin’s Task Ties

He is not a quest-giver in the demo data, but visiting Edwin periodically gifts Cleansing Balm — a third source beyond Hans and Crawford that matters when tentacle cleanup outpaces your stock. For his ranking among gift targets, see the gift guide.
