What do Bag Boys drop?
When a News Event hits Elderfield, the shoppers come out carrying bags: Bag Boys roam four zones at once in two leveled versions, Insanity-element and uniformly weak to Light — a town-wide farm encounter rather than a single named wall.
Where do Bag Boys appear?
| LV1 | LV2 | |
|---|---|---|
| Locations | Town, Mall, Sewers, Beginner Mines | same four, during News Events |
| HP | 150 | 200 |
| Defense | 11 / 11 | 22 / 22 |
| Attack / M. Attack | 10 / 10 | 18 / 18 |
| Agility | 0 | 0 |
The four-zone spread is the point: a News Event turns the whole map into one encounter pool, from the beginner guide’s first-week Town errands down into the Beginner Mines.
How do you beat a Bag Boy?
- Light, always. Both levels keep the same Insanity element and Light weakness — one coverage decision handles every Bag Boy in the event, per the combat guide’s element rules.
- The levels are gear gates, not skill checks. Everything roughly doubles from LV1 to LV2, but 0 Agility holds: they never out-tempo you. If LV2’s 22/22 defenses stall your damage, the fight is telling you your gear is behind, not your play.
- They are farming, not bosses. At these stat scales with named drops, treat News Events as harvest windows — the same tempo logic the Mall Administrator fight rewards, applied to a crowd.
What do Bag Boys drop?
LV1: Jester’s Boots, Dagger of Hope, Mystery Meat. LV2: Darkstone Boots, Sword of Hope, Mystery Meat. The Hope-named gear scaling by level is the hook — the Mystery Meat underneath is the classic sellable from the beginner guide’s loot economy.
