Mr. Wiggles Boss Guide - The Childhood Fear Stat Check
Mr. Wiggles in Elderfield: 350 HP, no elemental weakness and balanced 36/33 defenses at Greystone Estates — a raw stat-check fight from Dan's Childhood Fear task.
FAQ
What is Mr. Wiggles weak to?
Where do I fight Mr. Wiggles?
Can I leave the Mr. Wiggles fight and come back?
Elderfield’s element wheel answers most fights with one word. Mr. Wiggles is the fight where the answer is “it doesn’t matter” — no weakness, balanced defenses, and 350 HP of pure numbers. This guide covers where the Childhood Fear task sends you and how to out-stat a stat check.
How the Childhood Fear fight starts
| Location | Greystone Estates (rooftop) |
| Task | Dan’s Childhood Fear chain |
| HP | 350 |
| Defense | 36 physical / 33 magic |
| Weakness | None |
The Childhood Fear task chain — Dan’s, at Greystone Estates — runs through this rooftop encounter, and the fight carries a schedule side-effect worth knowing before you accept it: Sam waits around Greystone Estates the whole time the task runs, instead of alternating Town and the Lakefront. If you were planning to catch her at the water on a gifting day, resolve Mr. Wiggles first or plan around the lock.
Winning a fight with no weakness
The combat guide teaches element coverage; this boss is the exception that tests everything else:
- Both defense types are near-even (36/33) — neither your physical attacker nor your magic option is wasted, so bring whichever hits harder for you.
- 350 HP is a top-end early number — below the Weird Fish’s 400, above the Mall Administrator’s 300 — and with no weakness to exploit, the health bar only moves as fast as your raw output.
- Sustain decides it. No element lever means no shortcut on the race; heal before you commit, guard through the damage spikes, and keep a retreat open.
That last point is the real strategy: retreat is free. A stat check you are losing is the game telling you to leave, run another farm-fishing-cooking loop, and come back with better numbers. Every system on this wiki — the farming guide, cooking, the Workshop’s forged gear — is the upgrade path for exactly this kind of wall.
After the fight
Two consequences of clearing the boss: the Childhood Fear task resolves, and Sam’s rotation unlocks — she returns to alternating Town and Lakefront days, back in reach for the moth-and-Void gifting route on her character page. Gift runners should queue a Pale Empress Moth for the occasion; the gift guide ranks her among the moth economy’s best customers.
