FAQ

Where is the Giant Man-Fish?
In the Mall basement (BF) — the same floor as the Emissary of Daeus, below the Hall Monitor's hallway and the Mall Administrator's arena.
What is the Giant Man-Fish weak to?
Insanity. It is an Insight-element enemy with the flipped pairing — the same combination as the Fingermen — so the Insanity option in your loadout is the documented lever.
What does the Giant Man-Fish drop?
Nothing is documented yet: no drops, no skills, no achievement. The community wiki's page for it predates the v1.0.0 launch and its strategy section is still empty; when records fill in, this page gets the update.

The Mall’s basement keeps two documented residents. The Emissary of Daeus is the 1800 HP wall; the Giant Man-Fish is the other exam entirely — 1200 HP on a frame that acts at 75 Agility, the third-fastest stat block on the books.

Where does the Giant Man-Fish fight happen?

Location Mall BF (basement)
HP 1200
Defense 50 physical / 60 magic
Element Insight
Weakness Insanity
Agility 75

The Mall ladder descends in scale: the Hall Monitor teaches its tempo lesson at 150 HP in the F1 Hallway, the Mall Administrator tests endurance at 300, the Denizen of the Deep Fryer holds the Food Court at 400 — and the basement starts at four Mall Administrators stacked together. Here below, the Man-Fish’s 1200 HP sits beside the Emissary’s 1800, a floor under the shops.

How do you fight the Giant Man-Fish?

  • Insanity is the lever — and the trap. Insight-element with an Insanity weakness is the flipped pairing the combat guide warns about — the Fingermen’s combination, and the exact mirror of the Weird Fish (Insanity-element, weak to Insight) at the Lakefront. If your instinct from the water says “fish take Insight”, this is the fight that punishes the carry-over.
  • 75 Agility is the headline. Only the Weird Fish’s 999 and Sleep, Demigod’s 100 act faster in the documented records — roughly ten Hall Monitors’ worth of tempo. With 60 Attack and 50 Magic Attack it swings for real numbers on every one of those turns: heal when the pace allows, because you will not win a race against it.
  • Near-even armor, element first. Defenses split 50 physical / 60 magic — a margin too thin to build a plan on. Element coverage is the documented edge: bring the Insanity option the stat card names, and let the combat guide’s retreat rule handle the rest.

What does clearing the Giant Man-Fish get you?

Nothing is documented yet — no drops, no skills, no achievement, and the wiki’s strategy section for it is empty. Elderfield’s fish family spans the map meanwhile: the Fish Man patrols the Lakefront at 100/250 HP, the rainy-day Weird Fish ambushes at 400, the Giant Fish rolls out of the Campsite mystery at 400 — and the Man-Fish is the family’s deep-water branch, the only family member documented below street level. When its records fill in, this page gets the update.
