FAQ
How many achievements does Welcome to Elderfield have?
Which achievements are the rarest?
Do the Stone Tower achievements stack across difficulties?
Achievements are the quiet progress tracker of an Elderfield save: they log your first steps, your worst habits, and how deep into the Old Gods’ favor you climbed. This page lists all 51 with the official unlock conditions and global rarity, so you can see what a typical run looks like — and what completionism costs.
How many achievements does Welcome to Elderfield have?
51. The set splits into nine practical groups: first steps and exploration (3), the death ladder (4), boss milestones (10), farming and animal grinds (7), the gold ladder (4), blessings and curses (6), friendship and marriage (6), contests and oddities (5), and six Stone Tower runs — one per difficulty setting. Only the entries naming a specific boss, system or contest need routing — the rest are volume.
First Steps and Exploration
| Achievement | Unlock condition | Players |
|---|---|---|
| A New Beginning | Step outside your home | 88.8% |
| Hooligan | Enter Elderfield High | 0.6% |
| Ghost Hunter | Complete all 3 school scenarios in Elderfield High | 0.1% |
Nearly nine in ten players have opened their front door, 0.6% have entered Elderfield High, and the three-scenario completion sits at the 0.1% display floor. The school is late-content territory — the beginner guide’s first-week loop never needs it.
The Death Ladder
| Achievement | Unlock condition | Players |
|---|---|---|
| Welcome to Elderfield | Die | 52.9% |
| Groundhog Day | Die 10 times | 17.2% |
| Tis But a Flesh Wound | Die 100 times | 0.1% |
| Borrowed Time | Survive 5 deaths by using Rings of Immortality | 0.1% |
The game’s name doubles as its tutorial punchline — dying is normal enough that over half the player base holds the first rung. Rings of Immortality convert a death into a survival, and the achievement tracks exactly five such saves.
Boss Milestones
| Achievement | Unlock condition | Players |
|---|---|---|
| Snooping Around | Slay the Hall Monitor | 23.6% |
| Ultimate Shopper | Slay the Mall Administrator | 17.7% |
| Mycelicide | Slay the Ancient Mushroom | 2.5% |
| All Bark, but No Bite | Slay the Ancient Tree | 1.0% |
| As Above | Slay the Gravemoss Colony | 0.3% |
| So Below | Slay the Soul of the Catacombs | 0.1% |
| Deep and Damp | Slay the Emissary of Daeus | 0.1% |
| Deep and Dark | Slay the Emissary of Delvek | 0.1% |
| Deep and Dead | Slay the Emissary Kaal | 0.1% |
| Savior of Elderfield | Slay the Emissary of Xxarteck | 0.1% |
Ultimate Shopper is the mid-game gate — the Mall Administrator cleanup walkthrough covers that fight. Past the Ancient Mushroom and Ancient Tree, the trail runs through the Catacombs and into the four Emissaries, one for each Old God named in the achievements: Daeus, Delvek, Kaal and Xxarteck. Element weaknesses from the combat guide matter more the deeper this list goes.
Farm and Animal Grinds
| Achievement | Unlock condition | Players |
|---|---|---|
| Farming Sim | Harvest your first crop | 48.6% |
| Green Thumb | Harvest 100 crops | 8.7% |
| Green Hand | Harvest 1,000 crops | 0.1% |
| Green Soul | Harvest 10,000 crops | 0.1% |
| Animal Tamer | Harvest 50 animal products | 1.0% |
| Animal Herder | Harvest 500 animal products | 0.1% |
| Animal Fanatic | Harvest 5,000 animal products | 0.1% |
Each ladder climbs by an order of magnitude, and the animal ladder is the steeper of the two — only 1.0% of players have even 50 products. The farming guide’s season calendar is the tool for the crop side; there is no shortcut past 10,000 harvests.
The Gold Ladder
| Achievement | Unlock condition | Players |
|---|---|---|
| Pocket Money | Earn 1,000 total gold | 30.9% |
| Doing Well | Earn 10,000 total gold | 4.3% |
| Business Person | Earn 100,000 total gold | 0.2% |
| Filthy Rich | Earn 1,000,000 total gold | 0.1% |
Total gold earned, not gold held — spending does not reset the meter. A million is a long-haul economy achievement; the jump from 0.2% to 0.1% between 100k and 1M says most players who clear the third rung still stop short of the fourth.
Blessings and Curses
| Achievement | Unlock condition | Players |
|---|---|---|
| Curious | Align yourself to an Old God | 23.2% |
| Zealot | Align yourself to each Old God at least once | 0.1% |
| Sickly | Have 5 different curses at once | 40.5% |
| Jacked | Have 5 different blessings at once | 37.0% |
| Haggard | Have 5 stacks of 5 different curses at once | 0.1% |
| God Mode | Have 5 stacks of 5 different blessings at once | 0.1% |
Curses find two in five players on their own — ranked just behind dying and the first harvest — which says plenty about where a normal run goes wrong. The stack variants — five copies of five different effects — are the completionist wall. Zealot asks for alignment with each Old God at least once; per-save tracking is not documented.
Friendship and Marriage
| Achievement | Unlock condition | Players |
|---|---|---|
| Friendly | Reach 10 hearts with one character | 0.1% |
| Socialite | Reach 10 hearts with all characters | 0.1% |
| In This Together | Get married | 0.1% |
| Re-Gifter | Give a Farm Visitor item right back to them | 0.3% |
| Bad Friend | Decrease the friendship of the same character 10 times | 0.1% |
| Oblivious | Decrease friendship 50 times in total | 0.1% |
Hearts cap at ten, marriage exists as its own achievement, and the gift guide is the route to both. The negative-track achievements are the mirror set — 50 botched gifts across a save is its own kind of commitment.
Contests, Galleries and Oddities
| Achievement | Unlock condition | Players |
|---|---|---|
| Expert Angler | Win the Fishing Contest | 0.1% |
| Art Restoration | Complete one full room of the Art Gallery | 0.1% |
| Supporting Arts & Culture | Complete the Art Gallery | 0.1% |
| Why, That Little… | Get a bad result from drinking Abby’s lemonade | 2.2% |
| Good Source of Iron | Eat a sandwich filled with nails | 0.1% |
The Fishing Contest is the fishing guide’s competitive end — a contest win, not just a full codex. Abby’s lemonade misfires for about one in fifty players who apparently trusted the stand, and the nails sandwich rounds out the set’s dark-snack humor.
The Stone Tower Runs
| Achievement | Unlock condition | Players |
|---|---|---|
| Cozy Tower | Complete ‘The Stone Tower’ task on Cozy Game difficulty or higher | 0.1% |
| Easy Tower | Complete ‘The Stone Tower’ task on Easy difficulty or higher | 0.1% |
| Normal Tower | Complete ‘The Stone Tower’ task on Normal difficulty or higher | 0.1% |
| Hard Tower | Complete ‘The Stone Tower’ task on Hard difficulty or higher | 0.1% |
| Nightmare Tower | Complete ‘The Stone Tower’ task on Nightmare difficulty | 0.1% |
| Custom Tower | Complete ‘The Stone Tower’ task on Custom difficulty | 0.1% |
The Stone Tower is the endgame task, and the achievement list frames it six ways — one entry per difficulty from Cozy Game up to Nightmare, plus Custom. Every entry sits at the display floor six days in, which makes this the least-explored corner of the achievement list: even the Cozy run is rare so far.
